Alternatively, you can import colors directly from your designs with Respresso's Figma, Adobe XD and Zeplin integration.
How to import existing colors to your Respresso project?
To import a color file, do the following steps:
- Go to the color category.
- Click on the
Import
button and select the file you want to import. - Optionally, change import settings. These options differ by format. Some formats do not have any.

How imported colors are merged
During color import, Respresso tries to merge your colors with existing ones. It follows the following rules:
- Color names are treated as identifiers, so if an imported color name already exists they will be updated with the imported color.
- Formats supporting aliases will be imported as aliases. Currently, they won't show up in Respresso.
