Projects using Respresso
Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT) app
-15% | | |We used Respresso for the development of native mobile applications of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
Android and iOS apps are designed to give stock market users quick and easy access to stock price information. It provides up-to-date information on the change of the BUX index and includes current issuer news.
The uploading of the localization texts, images and colors was done by the design team. They used the Respresso Figma plugin to automate the process. Subsequent changes were transferred into the system in a similar way.
The BSE Exchange App also uses synchronization clients on both platforms. A synchronization client is able to instantly synchronize all resources that have been uploaded to the Respresso system into the source code. Platform specific resources are synchronized to the appropriate folders in the project.
We compared the current development to previous developments and we achieved approx. 15% time savings using Respresso. Time savings were calculated based on the following criteria:
- The processes were highly automated.
- Keeping the resources in sync has become a complete solution for both platforms.
- We only had to make the changes once, the system handle and automate further tasks.
BSE (BÉT) KIBINFO portal
-10% | | |To develop the Issuer Information System of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE-KIBINFO), we used Respresso as a resource manager.
Listed companies as users e.g. MOL, OTP, Richter, Telecom, etc. publish statutory reports as well as extraordinary and other information by this program. It is published on the Hungarian and English websites of the Exchange. (source)
Respresso handles two languages and a total of 766 localization texts, which serve the KIBINFO system. The system is currently being built from 33 vector images, uses 16 pieces of color and 3 pieces of fonts.
BSE-KIBINFO uses the Respresso synchronization client. The synchronization client is able to instantly synchronize all resources that have been uploaded to the Respresso into the developed source code. Resources are synchronized to the appropriate folders in the project.
We compared the current development to previous developments and we achieved approx. 10% time savings using Respresso.
Time savings were calculated based on the following criteria:- The processes were highly automated.
- It eliminated unnecessary communication and the associated waiting times.
- All professionals worked on the final location of the files, no need to spend time copying and pasting resources.
- It increased the efficiency of collaboration between the disciplines involved (designer, translator, developer, tester).
- Mistyped texts could also be fixed by the testers, they don’t have to create any issue ticket.
Appshop - whitelabel, ecommerce app
-15% | | |We used Respresso for the development of native mobile ecommerce applications provided by Appshop.
Appshop provides a solutions for webshop owners to have their own native mobile applications. The features set includes everything a webshop needs from user management to ordering and paying.
We are using Respresso for iOS and Android development and we are started to integrate it into our admin site as well. As of now, we have 264 localized texts, 52 images, 22 colors, 1 font and 1 raw texts for Lottie animation.
In order to use these resources we are using the Respresso synchronization client. This makes our life easier since all resources automatically gets updated and all asset will be placed in the right folder, ready to use.
Beside the fact that we are saving ~15% development time by handling all assets at one place, one more reason that we are still using Respresso is the support that we got from the Respresso team, when we had issues during development. Flexibility and availability is also a great value when the project depends on a third-party software.

We start by designing the user interface in Figma. Then we import our assets into Respresso. Using Respresso was such a great time-saver in our workflow. We use Respresso to import the vector format resources, normally SVGs, and let Respresso do the necessary conversions. Then we utilize the sync feature to transfer the resources into our mobile application project using Respresso's CLI. We also made sure to have the font used in the app on Respresso as a reference. Another cool feature is the app icon generator, especially Android's adaptive app icon.
Respresso's versioning is also a key feature. Nowadays, mobile apps are constantly changing and updating, whether by adding new features or revamping the user interface to adapt to modern design guidelines. This dynamic nature of mobile apps makes asset management a difficult chore without a versioning mechanism like Respresso's.
It was a breeze to use Respresso.io, and overall, it was a great decision to adopt it into our designing/development flow from the very beginning.
NAV-Mobil
-21% | | |NAV-Mobile’s Android and iOS apps have undergone a complete redesign, giving them a modern clean and sleek look.
The NAV-Mobile application helps you to find the competent office, its opening hours and contact details. It offers the possibility to create a personal tax calendar to receive information about the monthly deadlines and obligations.
We had to redesign the previous (5 years old) applications in a new look during the development. The apps are built from 225 localization texts, 40 vector images and 11 colors per platform.
NAV-Mobil also uses Respresso's synchronization clients.
We compared the current development to previous developments and we achieved approx. 21% time savings using Respresso. Time savings were calculated based on the following criterias:

Meestory
| |Multiple components of the platform rely on Respresso.
Meestory is a software startup that builds their leisure activity organization platform for enterprises or large organizations. To ensure a great UX, they use Respresso to manage their software resources across multiple components with different technologies.
They use a broad range of Respresso features to support their workflow and used technologies.
They app is native on Android, and the iOS version packs the Web application (made with Aurelia) using Cordova.
In extent, their serverless Node.js backend also uses Respresso to send localized emails and push notifications.
In addition, they build their Admin Console (also Aurelia based) and their product website (uses Hugo) with the help of Respresso.

To support all of these technologies, and automate more workflows, they use Respresso's Flow engine. It allows them to customize the default conversion process to fit the used technologies. In the case of the Website, to support Hugo's custom file format the use a custom converter through a REST API.
They automated the deployment of their staging environment, that is also triggered from Respresso on any resource changes with the help of the Flow engine.
Respresso
| |Before Respresso, we managed resource files manually or using really basic scrips. We realized that these workflows consume a huge amount of time, so we created the first prototype of Respresso for ourselves.
Gradually, as it developed, we started using it for itself. At this point, the web application (built with Vue.js) and this website (built with Nuxt.js) uses resources managed by Respresso.
All together, we use 1200+ localization texts, 60+ vector images and 40+ colors.
